Safety Officer Network Meetings Planned for March 2019

March 21, 2019, 9am – 12pm – VA Department of Transportation Salem (Auditorium), Salem, VA
March 26, 2019, 9am – 12pm – Tidewater Community College Portsmouth Campus, Portsmouth, VA
March 28, 2019, 9am – 12pm – James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA
Safety Officer Network Meetings are designed to assist you with improving your knowledge, skills, and abilities while connecting you to other safety personnel in and around your area.
These meetings will include activities such as “What Would You Do?” scenarios that will help you to apply safety concepts in real life situations. They will also include:
- Drive Smart VA Speakers and Resources
- General Safety News and Updates
- Workers’ Compensation Claims Review
- Topics Presented by COV Safety Peers
