MC Innovations Now Certified as a Virginia SWaM Women Owned Business

MC Innovations (MCI) is pleased to announce that the organization has been approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Small Business and Supplier Delivery as an approved Women Owned Business. MCI has been in business for 24 years and was previously recognized by SWaM as a Small Business. In January 2018, four key women members of the MCI management team acquired a majority ownership of the organization and an application for Women Owned status was submitted and recently approved. 

The Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) certification program is a state program of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The purpose is to enhance procurement opportunities for SWaM businesses participating in state-funded projects. Learn more about the SWaM program.
